On May 12, 2018, Mr. Ko Chi Kin, Derek from Hong Kong, canoed with one hand for 5 km in Chong Hing Water Sports Center, Saigon, Hong Kong. With total time of 54 minutes and 18 seconds,this set the world record granted by the World Record Association for being the person who fastest canoed with one hand for 5 km in the world.
